To his ancestors, his deities, his guests, himself and his relatives, this fivefold duty is paramount (most important).

We believe that as a family we owe to others. This debt is as follows:

1. Towards our parents, grandparents going backwards for 7 generations.
2. Towards our guardian deities that are connected to our family.
3. Towards guests who visit us.
4. Towards us.
5. Towards our relatives.

It is important that we help our parents to maintain these duties.
