	Ushas Suktam I have always been drawn on a deep level to Dawn. Early morning is my favorite time of the day. My soul seems most available, my thinking most pliable, my heart so naively tender. Perhaps it is for me the moment of greatest optimism in anticipation of what is possible...an exciting connection to latent possibilities and potentialities. I never understood these feelings that are consistently evoked at Dawn and that are not connected to any specific life events. I only know that I feel them at this time of the day. 	I never met you as in one on one training because i live in Newyork, but I had requested your guidance for Sri Suktam in Sanskrit . I personally don't know Sanskrit . I called you in desperate need because I was worried that if I pronounce a prayer in Sanskrit wrong , it would cause disastrous effects. You spent about 2hrs on phone with me for no charge.You took me word by word over the phone, how to pronounce as if you were right there with me. You made Sri suktam in Sanskrit so much easier to comprehend. I just wished you could have flewn by plane to NewYork had a class , so you can physically assist in person , because when I get some thing in Sanskrit translated by phone it is hard in terms to see my lips move to pronounce the words exact. Everything else within the 2hr over phone was perfect. There are other misleading and mispronunciation on other sites, which I like to stay away from , but you at Amba House Vasantiji are an asset of honesty, a real Teacher who leads people like us that don't know Sanskrit to light. 	I am a devotee of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba since childhood. I was also a student of Bal Vikas, the children spiritual education component of the organization. So far I have attended the Karma Yoga, Sri Suktam,Lalitha Sahasranama, Ganga Stotram and part of Ushas Suktam classes in Santa Rosa. I am also reading the interpretation of Sri Rudram on line. I have been benifitted a lot by your classes. They have motivated me to read more and contemplate more on spiritual knowledge and spirituality.Sri Suktam has become a part of my daily worship and Ganga Mantram is helping me to stay calm and composed during most part of the day.Recently on 11/8 and 11/9 we had Glaobal Akhand Bhajan an annual feature of the Sai Organization where devotional songs are offered to the Almighty from 6:00 pm 11/8 to 6:00 pm 11/9. It is customary to sing suprabhatam in the morning at 5.30 am. As we were all participating in the devotional singing through out the night, we purified oursleves by chanting the Ganga Mantram before suprabhatam. The chanting was very powerful and was appreciated by all those that were present. The interactive sessions we have during our classes have clarified many doubts and have made many concepts crystal clear. The joy I am experiencing by chanting Sri Suktam after learning the meaning is so different from the experience before. Karma Yoga classes have motivated me read the Gita in greater depth. It is good to have a break now because I am using this time to further deepen my understanding of the concepts that you have introduced me to, for example Saksi site has so much to offer on the vedas. 	I was fortunate enough to attend classes taught in person by Srimati Vasanti Jayaswal. We started by learning not only the meaning of Lalita Sahasranama but also the way it should be chanted . We progressed to Sri suktam which was so much more complex yet so appealing ,ancient wisdom yet pertinent today. I also did a course in Karma Yoga.It was an excellent introduction to how to blend spirituality in daily living based on Bhagavat Gita. The course format involved some written assignments which really helped me think things through.We went on to study Ganga Strotam which I love chanting. Raatri stotram was next. I am currently studying Tara . My life has changed tremendously. I like the simple approach to these very complex ideas which has made me discover a whole new way of looking at Sanatana Dharma, beyond meaningless chanting and ritualism. There is a universal appeal to the lessons which transcend religion ,race ,language and geography. I feel I am on a journey to discover and get closer to the truth whatever it is. I am one of the few lucky ones who learned to chant Lalita Sahsranama set to Yaman Kalyan which makes it even more beautiful. Vasantiji has done so much and expects nothing in return.
