The milk vessels overflow with its contents,
Filled by the generous milch cows.
Be aware that you are the son of a great and generous person.
Oh great one you do have immense power.
You appeared in this world as visible a long time ago.
Oh effulgent one!
Wake up, your enemies who have lost all strength,
Are at your doorstep.
Just like them, we too have come defeated, thus bending low to your feet,
Oh my dear pavai.

Bhavana of approaching the Lord - by one whose strength is depleted in battle.

Shri Krishna is from a lineage of givers, givers of spiritual succour. This purna avataram was available for perception a long time ago in history. The devotee is banking on this fact , in requesting the Lord to hear her woes. We approach him, weary, having been defeated in the battle of day- to-day life.
