Integrity
Hi! My name is Asha Jayaswal and I am an eighth grade student at Cali Calmecac Language Academy. I have spent the last 9 years of my life at this school and would not have wished to spend it in any other place. To begin I would like to quote C.S. Lewis, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” Integrity is the quality of being honest. It can also mean being consistent between people, and this is what makes integrity so important. When you are consistent it makes people want to trust you more. Sometimes it’s hard to be honest but in the long run it will pay off. In school having integrity is a very important quality because honesty can take you far in life. If you want to go to college to be a scientist, a doctor or a lawyer, you can always count on integrity. But the most important thing to remember is to be honest with yourself.
The moral of the story is that even though integrity may not seem important now, it will be in the future.
