Introduction
A beautiful small laud found in the Prapanchasaratantra addressed to the Devi, who is the Creatrix of the world. A world in which we creatures find ourselves bound. A strong philosophy of Affirmation, not Negation runs through the twenty stotras where the devotee appeals to Her Immanent Form. She is vitally present in the building blocks of the universe as much as she is in the subtle constituents of the human being. This poem has a sonorous as well as a comforting value to those who wish to take refuge in the Feminine Divine Principle.
The home study course for this poem is in 5 lessons. There is one apprehension quiz in the fourth week. Lessons include original Sanskrit verses, transliterated English of the same, gist of the word - meaning and general commentary.
