Earning My Coffee

Silky, creamy, slow sips,

Of aromatic comfort,

Give a pep to my walk,

And a cheer to my mind.

Returning home,

I realize that this gain,

Must surely be channeled,

Into much productive work.

Only then can I claim,

That this delight is now,

Truly, truly earned.
